To say that we had fun on our trip to Atlanta would be an understatement. This trip was planned to inspire each other while attending the Create and Cultivate conference. It exceeded our expectations and our creative juices are really flowing. We explored, looked like tourists, met some great people, found our love for vanilla Crown Royal and laughed at inappropriate times. Lets just say that if spilling drinks were a crime, Carissa would have been arrested (no judgement)! The overall vibe and style of the event was on POINT. To be in a room with so many creative, goal driven women was refreshing. Lets not forget about the amazing swag bag which contained some Lou & Grey leggings ( I happen to have them on and feel unstoppable).
Some of our best moments from the trip were:
-Brunch with the family at West Egg, the garlic grits and pumpkin spice latte were amazing.
-Having lunch (meaning drinks) with some old friends at Minero at Ponce City Market. Shout out to Crystal and Kristyn @cutupanddyed.
-Getting mistaken for influencers at the meet and greet (we had to google and it was a huge compliment).
-Building our Kendra Scott necklaces at the color bar.
-Sleeping awfully close on a blow up mattress. Rich and Laura showed us a great time and have such a cool apartment in Buckhead, their dog Ruby is the cutest.
-We walked out of the conference with our hair done, nails done, received massages, makeup refreshed, and our lashes longer. That’s my kind of conference!
-Our mentor session with Keiko Lynn was such a cool experience. She is so sweet, beautiful and shared some great advice.
-Did we mention Vanilla Crown Royal. 🙂
-Our overall favorite #girlbosses were Meghan Markle, Rachel Martino, Nicole Ritchie, and Courtney Kerr just to name a few.
The overall message was to stay true to ourselves, be authentic, invest in professional photos and take risks.
Until our next creative adventure,
Taylor and Carissa xo
